How We Ship Your Plants

Houseplants are living and often delicate items, so how do we pick, pack and ship yours once you've made an order? See below our step by step process that ensures you get peace of mind that your order will be with you in great shape.

Step 1: Selecting material

Step 1: Selecting Materials

We use recycled wood fibre to cover the soil to help prevent any undue soil spillages when in transit.

Step 2: Placing the wood fibre

Step 2: Placing the wood fibre

The wood fibre is then carefully placed over the soil, right under the foliage. We take extra care not to compress the soil.

Step 3: Ensuring correct coverage

Step 3: Ensuring correct coverage

We then take small plastic bags to cover the planter or pot and wood fibre covered soil portion of the plant. This ensures everything is kept nicely together.

Step 4: Securing the plant

Step 4: Securing the plant

Next we take a small zip tie and securely fasten the small bag around the planter or pot and the wood fibre area. This is then fully secure below the foliage.

Step 5: Final package

Step 5: Final package

Finally, we then place the secure houseplant in a recycled fluted paper bag, which is then tightened and secured with a small rubber band. This protects your plant and ensures everything stays together in transit.

*We also have an additional packing process for tall, big and/or multiple plants. Larger plants are stabilized using a wooden stick and shipped with special inserts that lock in houseplants for greater stability when shipping.
